Duck spotting... Have you heard the tale of the two little ducks of Dolswydd?

Every day we have a visit from two little ducks, one boy called Rodney and one girl called Jemima (she likes puddles!).

They fly up the River Ithon to the bridge behind the Severn Arms, land on the river and sail down to the corner. Then they fly back up to the bridge and sail down to the corner again.

Rain or shine, they always visit.

Can you spot them below?

Harvest time on the farm

It's been a really busy time on the farm. The sheep have been shorn making it a lot cooler for them, not so cool for poor Martin and Tom the shearers though!

We have made five fields worth of round bale silage, which has been wrapped and stacked. Look out for the pink and purple bales. The special coloured wrap - pink supports breast cancer charities and the purple childrens charities.

Today we are mowing and gathering the pit silage. The tractors and trailers are going for it as we have to get it all done before the weather breaks. The grass is collected and tipped into the silage pit, where it is covered until we need to start feeding the livestock in late winter.
